NAMI of Chautauqua County is a grassroots, self-help support and advocacy organization comprised of families and friends who have loved ones with a serious mental illness. We are affiliated with NAMI of New York State and the national NAMI.
We are a nonprofit organization with the goals of promoting research, evidence-based care, accountability for services and rehabilitation.
Current advocacy issues: The Chautauqua County ACT program and improving the local criminal justice system’s response to (and services for) serious mental illness.
All are invited and welcome to our meetings, which are held the first Tuesday of every month at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 556 East Second Street, Jamestown, N.Y. at 6 p.m.
Sometimes the meeting schedule changes.
